Daniel Groves was born and raised in Narragansett, Rhode Island, and educated at Johns Hopkins University.  A staff member at the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, Groves has published a volume of poetry titled The Lost Boys (2010). His poems have appeared in numerous journals, including Paris Review, Yale Review, Poetry, Best New Poets 2005.
