A bilingual reading of poems from Late Montale, presented by the translator George Bradley and Professor Riccardo Bruscagli

Poet George Bradley, accompanied by Professor Riccardo Bruscagli, will read from his translations of Eugenio Montale, published in Late Montale (Waywiser, 2022). Bradley is the author of six books, most recently A Stroll in the Rain: New & Selected Poems (LSU Press 2021).  Among his awards are the Yale Younger Poets Prize, the Witter Bynner Prize from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters, the Peter I. B. Lavan Award from The Academy of American Poets, an Ingram Merrill prize, and a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Riccardo Bruscagli, Emeritus Professor of Italian Literature at the University of Florence, is an expert on poetry from various periods, with special attention to Carducci, Ariosto, Tasso, and Dante, as well as Montale.
